Para acceder a Xunantunich, cruzar\u00e1 el r\u00edo Mopan en un ferry de manivela. Xunantunich, que se traduce como \u201cDoncella de la Roca\u201d, es m\u00e1s conocido por El Castillo, la segunda estructura m\u00e1s alta de Belice. Este sitio consta de seis plazas mayas principales y 25 templos. Entre los puntos destacados se incluyen estelas talladas en la fachada de los templos mayas y vistas impresionantes para aquellos lo suficientemente aventureros como para subir a la cima.
